1. Overview

instatow respects your right to control your personal data. This Account Deletion Policy explains how you can request the permanent deletion of your account, what data will be removed, what data may be retained (and why), and the timeline for the process.

IMPORTANT

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all booking history, payment records associated with your profile, and any other account-linked data that is not legally required to be retained.


2. Who Can Request Deletion

Any of the following account types may request deletion:

3. How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Send an email to: support@pixelperfect.co.in
  2. Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”
  3. Email must be sent from your registered email address (the one you used to sign up)
  4. Include the following in your email:
    • Your full name as registered in the app
    • Your registered mobile number
    • A brief statement confirming you want your account permanently deleted
    • (Optional) A reason for deletion — this helps us improve the service

Method 2 — Phone or Live Chat

You may also request deletion by contacting our support team:

  • Live Chat: Available 24/7 via Support section in the app

Our support agent will verify your identity and process the request.


4. Identity Verification

To protect your account from unauthorised deletion, we will verify your identity before processing:

  • For email requests: we verify that the request comes from your registered email address.
  • For phone/chat requests: we will ask you to confirm your registered mobile number and email address.

If we cannot verify your identity, we will not be able to process the deletion request and will ask you to resubmit via email.

If You Have Active Bookings

WARNING

If you have any ongoing or pending bookings at the time of your request, your account cannot be deleted until those bookings are resolved (completed or cancelled).

We will notify you if this is the case and ask you to wait until the active booking concludes before we proceed with deletion. You may also contact support to have open bookings cancelled on your behalf.


6. Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon successful deletion of your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

7. Data That May Be Retained

Some data is retained after account deletion for legal, financial, or safety reasons:

NOTE

“Anonymised” means your name, phone number, and email are removed from these records. The booking data (addresses, fares, dates) may be kept for legal purposes but will no longer be linked to your identity.


8. Effect of Deletion on Other Users

  • Customers: Service providers who received your booking will retain anonymised records of completed bookings.
  • Service Owners: Any completed bookings assigned under your account will be retained (anonymised) for record-keeping. Drivers registered under your account will need to be separately managed before deletion.
  • Drivers: Your booking assignments will be anonymised — the service records will remain but will not reference you personally.

9. Re-Registration After Deletion

After your account has been fully deleted, you are welcome to create a new account using the same or different email address and mobile number. However:

  • No previous booking history will be accessible on the new account.
  • No previous ratings or reviews will carry over.
  • Service Owners will need to re-submit their ID proof information upon re-registration.

10. Withdrawing a Deletion Request

You may cancel your deletion request before the account is fully deleted (i.e., within the 7-business-day window but before confirmation is sent).

To withdraw your request, contact us at support@pixelperfect.co.in  with the subject “Cancel Account Deletion Request” from your registered email address.
